Vinyl Wrapping in Perth
A vinyl wrap is a thin colour film laid over your paint to change how part of the car looks, from a roof or mirrors to a bonnet or chrome delete. It suits owners who want a new finish or a contrast accent for less than paint, with the factory paint kept underneath. Each job is priced on what it covers, including GST, and a partial wrap takes 2–3 working days in the studio.

A new finish, not a respray
A wrap changes the colour or finish of part of the car without touching the paint. The factory paint stays underneath, and the wrap can be taken off later if you want the original look back or are selling the car.
Vinyl is a cosmetic film. It gives far less impact protection than PPF, so if stone chips are the worry, or you want a full colour change, look at colour PPF instead.

The films we use
Most of our wraps are Inozetek. Super Gloss is made to look like deep gloss paint, the Frozen range gives a matte or satin finish, and the metallic range adds flake that catches the light. Inozetek also makes a colour PPF, which we fit as colour PPF.
For colours outside the Inozetek range, we fit 3M 2080, Avery Dennison SW900 and Arlon SLX+ wrap films. We help you choose from samples in the studio, because a colour on a screen never looks quite the same on a car.

Partial wraps and accents
We fit vinyl to parts of the car. Roofs, mirrors, bonnets, chrome delete and badge blackouts are the common jobs, and they change a car’s look quickly. Each has its own price in the table below, and a partial wrap takes 2–3 working days in the studio. For a full colour change, see colour PPF.
Door jambs and inner doors
A colour change, whether in colour PPF on the body or vinyl on the panels, still leaves the original colour showing in the door jambs and on the inside of the door when a door opens.
If you want the new colour there too, we wrap the door jambs and inner doors as an add-on, for $2,000 including GST. It takes extra time, because parts come off so the film can reach inside.

How long a wrap lasts, and the warranty
How long a wrap is covered depends on the film, its colour and finish, and the panel. In Perth, the maker’s warranty on vertical panels runs from one to six years, and most films do not cover bonnets or roofs. Our terms list each brand side by side, and we confirm the cover for your film with your quote.

Looking after a wrap
Hand wash the car with a pH-neutral shampoo. A pressure washer is fine if you keep the nozzle back from the film edges. Avoid automatic car washes, which can catch the edges of the film.
For easier washing, we can add Labocosmetica Armorius, a coating made for film, in gloss or matte to match the wrap.

What our customers say
Will a wrap damage my paint?
On sound factory paint, a quality wrap can be removed cleanly. Resprayed or damaged paint is a risk, so we check the paint before we start.
Vinyl or colour PPF?
Vinyl for a roof, bonnet, mirrors or another accent at a lower cost, with the widest choice of colours. Colour PPF for a full colour change plus protection from stone chips.
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
It depends on the film and finish. In Perth, the maker’s warranty on vertical panels runs from one to six years, and bonnets and roofs get less or none. See the warranty chart in our terms, and we confirm the cover with your quote.
How long will the car be with you?
A partial wrap, such as a roof, bonnet or chrome delete, takes 2–3 working days. We confirm the time around the job when we quote.
How much is a roof, bonnet or chrome delete?
A roof is $800, a bonnet $650 and a pair of mirrors $250. Chrome delete starts from $600 and badge blackouts from $150. All prices include GST.
Do you wrap the door jambs?
Yes, as an add-on to a full wrap: the door jambs and inner doors are $2,000 including GST.
Can you remove an old wrap?
Yes. We take off the old film and its adhesive. Removal is quoted after we see the wrap, because old or sun-baked film takes longer.
How do I wash a wrapped car?
By hand, with a pH-neutral shampoo. Keep a pressure washer nozzle back from the film edges, and avoid automatic car washes.
Do you do commercial or signage wraps?
Occasionally, depending on the project. Tell us about the vehicle and what you have in mind.
