Zeekr 7X Performance AWD

This Zeekr 7X went from black to a bold pink that shifts towards purple in some light. The change was made in Defcon Spectra colour PPF with full coverage, so every painted panel is the new colour.

Going from black to a light colour is one of the harder colour changes. Any gap at an edge or seam shows black through the pink, so the film has to be wrapped well around panel edges and into the gaps.

Because the colour is a protective film, it also guards the factory black paint against stone chips and light scratches. After fitting, the film was finished with a Labocosmetica gloss coating, which helps water and dirt slide off.

The car’s original black paint is untouched underneath.

The pink is a finish people notice, and the protection underneath means it can be driven every day without worrying about the paint. The film follows the 7X’s creases and badges without lifting.
