Toyota does not sell the LandCruiser 300 as a ute, so this GR Sport was converted to a cab-chassis with a service body and canopy before it came to us. It is a one-off vehicle, and its owner wanted the paint on all of it protected.
The whole vehicle was covered in Defcon Frozen clear satin PPF, which turned the white paint into a soft satin white. That included the cab, the bonnet and guards, and the painted panels of the service body and canopy, which take knocks when gear goes in and out.
Satin white is a striking finish, and an honest one: any unevenness in the film would show. So the big flat canopy sides were laid in large single pieces, and the film was wrapped around the edges where each panel allowed.
On top of the film, the vehicle received a ceramic coating and Labocosmetica Armorius, the coating made for film. Together they make red dust and mud easier to wash off a white vehicle, which matters on a vehicle built for working off the bitumen.
The job took five to seven working days and was finished in April 2026.
