A LandCruiser 300 is built to go places where the paint gets punished: gravel roads, scrub and long trips behind trucks. This one wears a bull bar and a driving light, so it is clearly meant to be used, and its owner chose full Defcon Frozen satin PPF to protect it.
Frozen turned the black paint into a satin black and covers every painted panel. On a 4WD the lower doors, sills and rear quarters take as much as the front, because the tyres throw stones and grit back along the sides, so a full car package makes more sense than the front alone.
Large flat panels on a 300 Series show any unevenness in satin film, so each door and guard was covered in as few pieces as its shape allowed, with the edges wrapped. The film was cut to work around the bull bar.
To finish, the film was coated with Labocosmetica Armorius in its matte version, which keeps the satin finish while making mud and dust easier to wash off. The vehicle spent five to seven working days in the studio.
