BMW M4 CS

The M4 CS is built to be driven hard, and that means stone chips. This one came in for full-coverage Defcon Glanz gloss PPF, so every painted panel is now behind clear film.

Gloss film is the choice when you want to keep the factory finish. It adds a clear, high-gloss layer over the paint and leaves the colour exactly as BMW painted it. From a normal distance you should not be able to tell it is there.

A car like this has a lot of sharp creases, vents and carbon details, and the film has to follow each one. Full coverage means the bumpers, bonnet, guards, doors, roof and rear quarters all have film on them, not just the front end that takes the most hits.

With the whole car covered, the owner can use it as intended without counting chips after every drive.

If a panel’s film is ever damaged, that piece can be replaced on its own, without touching the paint.
