Lexus LC 500

The LC 500 is one of the most sculpted cars on the road, and this one went from gloss black to satin silver. The colour change was done in Inozetek Dynamic PPF over the whole car.

Silver shows a body’s shape in a way black does not, and satin silver softens the reflections so the curves read clearly. Because the colour is a protective film, the paint is guarded against chips and light scratches as well.

A few details completed the look. The chrome on the grille was blacked out, so it no longer clashes with the new colour. The windows were tinted, and the film was coated to make washing easier.

The factory black paint remains underneath the film.

Satin silver hides fine wash marks well, so the car is easier to keep looking even. Every panel, including the deep curves around the rear guards, was covered so the new colour is consistent all the way round.
