Honda Prelude

The Prelude name is back, and this 2026 Honda Prelude in gloss black was covered from bumper to bumper in Defcon Glanz clear gloss PPF.

The new Prelude is low and smooth, with a full-width light bar across the rear and a long bonnet that meets every stone on the freeway. Glanz takes those hits instead of the paint, and its self-healing top coat closes fine wash marks with heat, which matters on black, where swirls show first.

We cut and fitted the film panel by panel, wrapping it around the edges where each panel allowed, so there are no visible lines around the bonnet, the light bar or the bumpers. Badges and trim came off where the film needed to run behind them.

The windows were tinted at the same visit with nano-ceramic film, which cuts heat and glare without the metallic look of older films, fitted within WA’s legal limits.

The car spent five to seven working days in the studio, and the film was registered on Defcon’s e-Warranty.
